Having our tea at the Margarita Station in Balibago, Angeles City

(The restaurant has since moved to a new location.)

I wasn’t a regular at Margarita Station in Balibago, but I’ll never forget the times I went there. I just happened to remember it one day when I passed by the old building where it used to be.

It was always a lively place with a buzzing atmosphere that we frequent every Thursday because of the sumptuous Mongolian Barbecue that you can dig your teeth into. It was a great spot to meet new people, have a drink, and play a round of pool.

The Margarita Station used to be our go-to for beers and a round of pool if you're up for a really nice time, which was also a walking distance from our hotel.

For many, it became a go-to spot, especially for foreigners. Some may have had negative impressions of the place, but honestly, if you were just looking for good food, good drinks, and a good time, that’s exactly what you’d get. It didn’t have to be anything more than that.

You can sit at the tall chairs facing the pool table, or you can have your drink and strike up a conversation at the bar or just chill at their stir-fry station at the back.

Now that it’s no longer in Balibago, I can’t help but feel a little nostalgic when I think about it—and I’ll always remember it as a place for good vibes and fun times.
